Well, folks, thanks for hanging in there over the summer while Jesse was away and letting

me and Ernie take over the pod for a little while, Ernie did a solo podcast last week,

which was great.

I'm doing a solo podcast this week.

And Jesse will be back next week.

I can't wait to see what he talks about on his first episode back.

And I just wanted to take a little time to talk about something that's happening to me.

And hopefully this experience will help you a little bit.

So what do you do when life kind of hits you a little bit and you feel like you're taking

a step backward, you know, you go in, you're making some progress and you just kind of get

hit a little bit.

Last year, my wife got laid off and that was a big hit.

But looking back on it now, I'm very grateful she was able to find another job actually

pretty quickly, quicker than I thought we would.

But looking back on it now, I think that was a really great learning experience because

we saw all the benefits that the budget gave us.

I wasn't worked, you know, I had worked hard to save up an emergency fund, get them

on the head.
