Fox. Hey, this is Trey, and thank you for joining us for another Tuesdays with Trey.

Back when I was in the house, I would from time to time be ask about the source of the anger the

frustration the disillusionment in politics and of course I was asked about the

right more than I was the left because Republicans at the time had the House,

the Senate, and the White House,

or at least some portion thereof for the entire eight years

I was there.

When people are upset, frustrated, disillusioned, angry, there could be many sources and just because

someone is disappointed or frustrated doesn't mean their right to be so, but I did spend time and I still do trying to understand this

frustration bordering on anger that I do detect in people's voices when I heard from them in the past and frankly sometimes when I still do.

If I had to single out a source and explanation or reason why otherwise good and reasonable people would be so raw with

frustration and anger and disillusionment it would it would be this and and this may surprise you this is what I think is the source of the

anger and the frustration and the angst it is unmet expectations.

It would be when expectations outpace realization.

It's what happens when anticipation was great

and higher than actualization.
