Story number one, a literal trial balloon from China.

News was reported late last week that a Chinese surveillance balloon, flying at 60,000 feet,

was recorded, entering US airspace in Alaska, traversing over Canada, and entering the United

States through Montana.

This surveillance balloon traveled through the north central portion of the United States

through Montana, the corner of North Dakota, down through the Dakotas into Missouri before

traversing the southeast and exiting across South Carolina into the Atlantic Ocean, where

it was then and only then shot down by an Air Force F-22.

What did this Chinese balloon see?

I wasn't allowed to fly over the United States of America.

What did it transmit back to China?

It's pretty odd to think about a literal hot air balloon being part of the arsenal of

the 21st century when it comes to surveillance.
