Hello. Hello. What's happening?

Um, I just, I've listened to you forever and listen, you still listen to you with my mom. Now I listen to you with my own kids. So my daughter is 10 and she doesn't know that her dad is not her biological dad.

We've had two children since her and I remember listening to you a long time ago and someone calls his exact same question and you said, don't tell them it just causes them undue harm.

But her cousins do know and I'm just worried somebody's going to tell her before we do and it won't go well.

Okay, I want to answer that. Nobody's told her in 10 years. So why are we going to worry about that if we don't have to? Yes, something could happen, but I would rather we postpone this as long as possible.

Because essentially, since you had two more kids with this guy, she's going to feel like the outsider. Right. So I would postpone this as long as possible. And then you consider down one day and say, I decided to protect you from knowing something that embarrassed me.

I made a mistake and had a baby with a wrong guy. I made a terrible stupid mistake and then I made a smart one. I made a smart choice. I married your dad.

He didn't have the sperm that made you, but he was the man who loved and raised you.

I apologize for using the wrong sperm the first time around. It was stupid and foolish of me and I'm a bit ashamed and that's why I didn't want to tell you.

Because the relationship you've had with your dad is just beautiful and I didn't want to put anything in the way of that.

Now, I don't see how anybody is going to be upset with that explanation. I was a jerk and I didn't want to put anything in the way of the beautiful relationship you have with the man who loves you more than your bio dad was ever capable of.

Do you think if you were in her position hearing that, you would be pissy? I don't think so.

No. No.

So write that down. I hope you don't forget it.
