When did you stop, chuckle, and think to yourself,

I'm in danger.

When a car jumped the median and was barreling right towards me doing well over 70.

Luckily, horsepower saved me from death.

My first instinct was to floor it.

At least have them hit the rear door and panels instead of the driver's side door.

I was the only one in the car.

When I was seven,

I was playfully pushing a sheep, and he pushed forward. Next thing I know, I'm against a wall,

sheephead on my chest, and five seconds later I realize he's too strong for me. I literally thought I was going to die right there. Death by Flouf. Driving 50 miles per hour in a little VW jetter and a huge

SUV was stopped at a crossroad up ahead. Apparently they didn't see me and they started

across the road. Thank God I hit the gas instead of the brake or I probably would have

teaboned them. Instead they smashed my back left tire and sent me spinning

to a stop in the opposite lane of traffic. It was also really lucky I had no oncoming cars in that

moment. Funny, though, it was so dazed, I remember thinking, who was that screaming? I'm the only one in

the car. Then I realized that it was me. Such a strange feeling.

A homeless girl grabbed me from a bar and said she needed an ambulance because her friend had taken too much of something.

I followed her and started phoning one. She led me to an abandoned building.

All that was going through my mind was, someone needs help.

When she led me to some stairs, she said we needed to go up them, and my brain finally kicked in and I realized it could easily be a trap. Even if it wasn't, I wasn't going

to walk into a smack den, and I was far enough into the building where escape wasn't easy.
