When did you see someone lose big and go nuts at a casino?

I work in IT for a casino, and I just had to replace a phone that was ripped off the wall

and thrown at one of our pit bosses over a bad loss.

I've been a dealer for 10 years.

Third day of dealing, fresh out of dealer school, I'm dealing pie-gown tiles.

This is like an Asian domino game.

You try to get pairs and tiles to add up as close to nine as possible.

On a $25 minimum game.

A guy is there consistently betting between 25 and 75 for a good two hours.

He then slides his whole stack on one hand for three grand. For those of you who know the

game, he gets Tien Dai Bo. I pull Jijun. For those who don't know the game, it's like he got

pocket kings and I got pocket aces. Or that he pulled a 20 in blackjack and I just pulled 11 cards

to make 21. The odds are astronomical, and it's the only hand that

could beat him. He slams his fist on the table, swearing in Chinese, chips are flying everywhere,

and he begins to shove his finger down his throat. He blows big chunks all over my game. I close

the table and pit down for clean-up. That's my third day on the job.

The money and benefits are great, though. I highly recommend the industry. I made between

30 and 40 bucks an hour.

A gentleman at a poker table in the five-seat game unzipped his pants and relieved his
