In the Evangelical Church today, it's very encouraging to see a growing emphasis on

expositional preaching, on sound doctrine, on the gospel.

But there's also a danger that we face, the danger of saying the right things, but not

living in accord with our words.

There's a danger of embracing gospel doctrine

while at the same time neglecting a truly gospel-shaped church culture. In today's interview,

I have the pleasure of sitting down with Ray Ortland and Sam Albury to discuss this connection

between gospel doctrine and gospel culture. They share what it can look like when a church is

theologically careful, but culturally sick,

and why our willingness to be honest with each other

and our eagerness to share honor to our brothers and sisters in Christ

can reveal a lot about how healthy our churches really are.
