Summary

King Charles is only a few weeks into his reign, but he’s already appointed his first Prime Minister. In a Monarch ‘first’ that he probably wasn’t expecting quite so soon, Charles accepted Liz Truss’ resignation and asked Rishi Sunak to take her place during an Audience filled with royal tradition this week. But it’s not been all politics this week as King Charles is also appearing on BBC TV show Repair Shop, taking two family heirlooms to the expert for a make-over.
