We're not doing what we usually do which is to make sense of the business news of the day.

Business news is taking a back seat. I turned on

C. M. C. this morning. They weren't covering business, so I figure if anything

gives us a pass here at Market Fullry, that's as good as indication as any. So by all means, as I say on the

rare occasions when it's just me in the studio, please skip this episode and come back

tomorrow. I promise we will be back to what we normally

do. So yes, by all means, please just stop listening and skip this one. I live in work in Alexandria, Virginia and I have lived here for the past 25 years and tomorrow morning, tomorrow morning the city where I have made my home and I have brought up my

children and built my life. This city is going to be on the front page of every

newspaper in America.

As you've probably heard by now a few hours ago,

a man went to a park this morning

and opened fire on a baseball field where members of the United States Congress were practicing.

They were practicing for the annual congressional baseball game, which is a charity event

that is held every summer.
