Good morning everyone and welcome back to another mornings with the masters.

We are picking up with the new devotional, the Viva up titled,

Why Does the Christian Life Se seem so hard?

And as always, I'm gonna read the scripture

that I'm also gonna pick with the Devo.

The scripture is Roman chapter 7 versus 15 through 21. And it says says this I don't really understand myself for I want to do

what is right but I don't do it instead I do what I hate but if I know that what I'm is wrong, this shows that I agree that the law is good.

So I am not the one doing wrong.

It is sin living in me that does it.

And I know that nothing good lives in me, that is in my sinful nature.

I want to do what is right, but I can't. I want to do what is good, but I don't. I don't want

to do what is wrong, but I do it anyway. But if I do what I don't want to do, I am not really

the one doing wrong. It is the sin living in me that does it. I have discovered this principle of life that when I want to do what is right, I inevitably do what is wrong.

A little depressing. The devotion was titled, My Disappointed Christian Life, and it says this,

many Christians have a life verse that encapsulates what they've experienced with God so far and what they aspire to be.

Things like, we know that for those who love God all things work together for good or I can do all

things through Christ who strengthens me. If I were honest, Roman 7, verse 19, might fit best

as mine. You can sum up my life as so many good intentions, so little progress. I've been a Christian for over 30 years now and I'm

often dismayed at my lack of spiritual maturity. Why do I still struggle so much
