Back as we begin by praising Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala

and bearing witness that none has the right to be worshipped or unconditionally obeyed except for him.

And we bear witness that Muhammad ﷺ is his final messenger we ask Allah to send his

peace and blessings upon him, the prophets and messengers that came before him

his family and companions that served alongside him.

And those that follow his blessed path until the day of judgment and we ask

Allah to make us amongst them.

Dear brothers and sisters, if I was to ask you to describe the feeling of sitting in a place where

the book of Allah is being recited, the Quran is being recited, even if you don't understand

every word that is being recited.

And people are gathered and they are all focused on listening to an explanation of the book of Allah

and explanation of the Hadith of the Prophet ﷺ.

And it's one or two a.m. in the masjid and Ramadan and there is a stillness

that overcomes everyone.

There's a complete stillness.

I want you for a moment to first appreciate how incredible and how beautiful that is

and how that cannot be found anywhere but in these masjid, in these last ten nights of Ramadan.

When people are gathered together and it's one of those things that you have to experience it
