Okay, and now here's Rick with part one of a message called When a Friend is Dying. There are only two experiences that everybody in life absolutely go through,

birth and death.

I checked the recent statistics this morning on the internet.

The mortality rate in America is now 100%.

Everybody dies.

Now only a fool would go through life,

unprepared for what you know is inevitable.

You know you're going to die.

And so why don't you have made your peace with God,

made your peace with other people,

prepared so that you are ready to die, no matter when it may happen?

Now, because death is universal, we need to deal with this issue.

The Bible tells us, there on your outline, in Psalm 89,

no one can live forever. All will die. No one can escape

the power of the grave. Now, this next year, you're going to have friends who die. You may have

family members who die, but you will have people that you know definitely die.

How are you going to help them?
