It's Gun Talk. I'm Tom Gresham because, well, I'm the host.

That's what I get to do here.

We talk about guns and scopes and handguns rifles,

shotguns, shotguns, ammunition, and reloading. I have a sense, and curious, if you're seeing the same thing. I have a sense that more people

are getting into reloading, hand loading their own ammo, more than I've seen in the past.

I don't know if part of it is coming out of the pandemic when ammo was harder to find.

Of course, reloading components were harder to find too, but a lot of people got into it that way.

It also could be that I'm just seeing more online interests, more information about handloading and what

you can do and the accuracy benefits and the variations that you can create.

I mean if you're, say you got a 7 mag rifle, 7 millimeter

or rim into magnum and you don't want to shoot it all the time because it just it kicks a lot and it's expensive.

But if you're a reloader, you can make your own ammo that kicks less.

You can have reduced recoil loads, reduced loads.

Instead of shooting 160, 175 grain bullets,

you can drop down and shoot 120 grain bullets for practice,

for vomiting, for whatever the lighter weight

bullets gonna kick less then you load it down some and look even with a seven

mag you put 120 grain bullet in it, that's going to go faster, so you drop
