0:19.8	If you have scripture today, I'm going to be looking at a couple texts in the little book of
0:26.3	Colossians and the message is called whatever. It's in a series that we kicked off our year with called Passion Purpose and then Asterix and designer genes and I might have time to explain the designer genes part but I really want to focus on the passion and purpose part.
0:43.6	This is the message I wish I had heard when I was 20 years old.
0:47.8	In fact, when I was 20 years old, it seemed like I was getting the opposite message
0:51.5	of the message that God wants to share today.
0:54.4	And it felt like when I was 20 that the one thing you couldn't really know in life was whether
0:59.0	or not you were in the center of God's will.
1:02.1	Anybody grow up in church besides me that's here today?
1:04.4	Anybody grow up around church? That's just encouraging. Only 19 people grew up around church.
1:09.4	I've discovered that the 1130 is not really going to raise their hands at any point today
1:13.7	so I'm going to just leave that behind because I know you grew up in church some of you I'm
1:18.8	looking at you right now but when I grew up in church the thing that was like the unknowable thing of life is how can I be sure that I'm in God's will
1:29.8	And it wasn't just enough to be in God's will in the church I grew up in.
1:33.2	You had to be in the center of God's will.
1:36.2	More complicated.
1:38.2	And so I like you had all these passions in my life, all these plans, all these dreams, and yet it seemed like church was all
1:45.8	spiritual and it wasn't about any of those plans or any of those passions or any of those dreams.
1:51.8	It was just about whether or not I could find out if I was in the
