Summary
For most of her childhood, the house felt completely normal. Nothing strange. Nothing unexplained. Then, during her senior year of high school, that changed almost overnight.
At first the incidents seemed easy to dismiss. A strange noise. An object out of place. The kind of thing people laugh off and forget about.
Except the experiences kept happening.
Soon she discovered she wasn't the only one noticing them. Her mother had been hearing things too, and even the family dog began behaving differently around parts of the house.
What makes the story so unsettling isn't any single event. It's the pattern. The way the activity seemed to appear out of nowhere, build for weeks or months at a time, and then vanish just as suddenly. Years later, after returning home, she's left wondering if whatever was there ever truly left at all.
