Over half of Americans will tell you that life was better back in the good old days.

I don't understand that.

But for who?

When you say good old days, we all think of different times in like history.

I think of the Great Depression.

Some people think it was the 1950s with their poodle skirts and fancy jello molds. Yeah, we go to the soda shop. Others would argue it was the 1950s with their poodle skirts and fancy jello molds.

Not looking good.

If you ask me, the real golden age was the 90s, specifically the 1590s.

An incredible time in human history when kings ate giant turkey legs, gallant knights went on noble

quests, and all you needed for an afternoon entertainment was a good public beheading.

Okay.

Oh, those times.

You didn't need to go to a trial.

You just went right to the beheading.

That's right.

Luckily, there is one place where the magic and splendor of the 16th century is still alive and well.

That's at the local Renaissance Fair.
