But here today, I am speaking with the founders of a company called Arms of Andes, which is a

company that makes outdoor clothing from Royal Alpaca Wool that is single-sourced and produced

in Peru. Now, Arms of Andes was started in 2018 by the L.A. born Peruvian siblings, Melli and Renzo Inostroza.

And I spoke with them about why they started this company in the first place, the unique

characteristics and benefits of royal alpaca wool.

We talk about the traditional method used to collect that wool and their commitment to

and the challenges of manufacturing in Peru. And we also talk quite a bit about what they're doing

to try to be one of the most sustainable clothing brands in the world. So in case you couldn't tell by now, there is a lot of really interesting information in

this conversation, and I think you are going to learn a lot about an animal and a country

that are definitely worth knowing a whole lot more about.
