We are here with Jake Lisko of the Locked-on Bengals podcast talking about the game.

You know, we still got about a week, a little less than a week to go before kickoff Monday night football.

But what are the early vibes from a from a Bengals perspective here, Jake?

Can't get worse?

Is that the vibe?

You can't probably go two straight games turning the ball over three times in four plays.

Probably.

Never say never.

But you know, you don't do that and maybe that game looks a little bit different.

The crazy thing about that game to me is it turns on a dime, right?

They are driving to potentially make it a 10-17 game going into the half they get the

ball out of half time against some Minnesota Vikings and you go from three to 17 to 34 to

three in two minutes it's actually one of the craziest things that I've seen in a football game the

just comedy of errors that proceeds on a number of consecutive plays.

So, yeah, it can't really get worse, but I'm not sure how much better it's going to get either,

especially when it comes to the run game, which I think is a huge problem with this offense right now.

Yeah, and Jake is taking a big step back looking at the team.

I'm sure it can't get worse with Joe Burrow being out maybe for the entire season,

at least for a couple of months here. What is the feeling with the Bengals right now? Is it just

completely punt on the season? Or is there still some hope that maybe they can keep things in play until

Joe's back?

Well, it's never going to be the mentality from an NFL football team, right?
