What to expect in reconciliation today?

In case you missed it, House Republican leadership

wants you to know that despite delaying all of the most important committee markups this

week, their reconciliation timeline isn't delayed at all. That's really what they're saying.

Speaker Mike Johnson defended that position. Unclear to me whether that is actually true, but he says it's still possible that they could

get everything through the chamber by Memorial Day.

We still haven't heard from Treasury on the X-State, but Jake, today is a critical day

for reconciliation.

You have several House committees meeting all morning on this, on key,

key areas. Yeah, listen, well, first of all, I should say the Knicks one. That's cool.

I grew up a Knicks fan, won an overtime, went to sleep. So I can't say I had much faith in them.

But anyway, moving on.
