My name is Jody Avergan.

And this is a quick intro because we're doing a special episode. We are following up on the

episode we did a week or so ago about interesting history we learned on our respective summer

travels. So Nick and Kelly and I talked about we went to

California and New York and Ghana and East Africa and where else did Massachusetts

and we had lots of interesting stories to tell and we got lots of good feedback but but during that episode,

we also asked for your stories about

interesting tidbits from history

that you learned over your summer on your summer travels

and we got tons of great emails and Instagram dams and tweets and so forth.

So we're going to run through some of them now.
