Today we are going to talk about the lessons that writing a book taught me about life.

And maybe you don't want to ever write a book and that's fine.

But it is the lessons that pursuing long-term goals can actually teach us about life and having long-term goals.

Because this has been a goal of mine for a number of years and

it actually took me about five years in order to get to the place when my book published and

launched on January 31st so it took a long time a lots of adversity and so I just want you to

think about whatever your long-term goal is, whatever you're aspiring to

financially, relationally within your health. Maybe it's something to do with something that you

want to do professionally. Whatever it is, just hold that in mind. But in the meantime,

because it goes a long, long, long way. But with all this said, again, this just isn't about

writing a book. This is about when we set ourselves to a task down the road,

right, to an endeavor, something that we want to accomplish, whether we want to write a book,

whether we want to start a business, whether we want to, you know, get ourselves into peak

physical condition, whatever that goal is, we have to know that it's probably going to take

longer than we expect.

overestimate what they can accomplish in a year and underestimate what they can accomplish in

three. And so sometimes we try and pack our goals and our ambitions into a very short

time frame.
