Crankworks reluctantly, but maybe happily. I'm not sure. It was a long week of crankworksing,

but now we're back to our regularly scheduled podcast programming. I'm Mike Casmer. We get Dario

De Giulio and Stefan Pelletier here. Hello. Hi. Hi, everybody. We're here. Lots to talk about. We're kind of back in the swing of things. You know, crankworks happens. And it's kind of almost a sign of the end of the midseason wall when racing happens. So now we've got Lillje is coming up. Then we got world champs coming up. We saw the last Enduro World Cup race of the season happened, which is still Enduro World Championships, I guess. Right. This is the last Enduro World Cup race the season, which seems kind of crazy that it's wrapping up. I know. Their season feels very truncated compared to the downhill. Yeah, there's seven races. And also they had that big midseason gap too so lots

people flew back to north america well a few people flew back to north america but then they

have to go all the way back to europe for i guess two more races

i guess that's the life of a it's a tricky one but they also started earlier to be fair so

yeah that makes some sense. Yeah. But yeah.

So now racing all that, we'll get into that, but we should probably start, what should we start?

Maybe start with some show and tell.

Sure.

Because in the meantime, since crankworks happen and some packages arrived, we get some new products.

Like Dario, you and I both have the same new pedals came in the mail.

Yeah.

The new XTRs.

We, they like accidentally released them with the wireless drive train and then retracted and now they're back and uh then jesse spotted them on a bike

but yeah it's basically a saint style platform but with like more of an xTR weight and, you know, slightly smaller form factor.

Yeah, it's almost like a three-quarter saint type of thing. It's the same kind of rectangular

platform. But yeah, mine on this, on my scale, mine weighed 50 grams more than normal XTR pedal,

like total for set. So they're heavier than regular XDR, but they're definitely not as heavy as saint petals so was that with the pins uh no without the pins i don't believe in pins and clipless petals that work this way so we'll talk about that so if you haven't seen them this looks a lot like the current saint pedal just a little bit smaller and the the clip in mechanism doesn't rotate so it's fixed and then there's room for four

pins two in the front two in the back on each side and you can adjust the height of those which

i'm not opposed to it but also when i clip into these and look at the front of my shoe it doesn't come
