No, we're going to make it, man. It's just, this is a, this is a tough season. There's way too much going on. And there's a lot of difficulty in life right now. But you know what? We're doing okay. We're going to make it.

This is coming at folks a day late and a dollar short, but we are here and happy to present the content for you.

As John David said, it's been an interesting,

week in trying to get the recording schedule all hammered out. But you know what? We are here. And I think we got a pretty amazing show for you all. So it's going to be fun. Yeah, it is going to be a fun show. All right, man. So it should be a lot of good. Before we do that, though, there's a little bit of housekeeping out as we need to take care of last week. We had the International Pipe

Smoking Day special, which was a lot of fun to do talked about pipe smoke

and steve had i mean it was it was kind of a it's kind of a party you know with the with the listeners

we had some great great fun and some wonderful letters that we read and of course the uh you know

pipe smoking steve artwork competition uh, you know, pipe smoking Steve artwork competition.

And, you know, we named a winner, Joe Marty.

Now, Joe, I think, was fairly taken back by this.

Now, he seemed to be under the impression that we were going to have like an award ceremony.

And, you know, you and I, man, we, you know, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we we want to make sure that he gets his due. Uh, however, he's, he's, he's written in his award speech, um, his acceptance speech. You, you, you want to read this real quick for Joe? Yeah, I think I think you should.

So here we go. Here's we said. Asteemed colleague, uh, people often say it's an honor just to be

nominated. That may be true, but from my new vantage point, winning is really where it's at.
