I am back on the couch in comfy clothes with Maya Sank, aka Maya Moves. Thank you. Thank you very much

for having me, pumped about this. I'm so excited. First of all, I know, I always knew that we were going to hit it off. But then when we like finally did, we were supposed to get coffee a few weeks ago, I was sick. We ended up doing a Zoom. Date. Oh. Yes. Like, this is electric. Exactly. I knew it. So I was like, let me help you with your dance. Yes. I was like, please don't get married without me.

No, I mean, I wouldn't dream of it.

I think before I knew that I was getting married, I knew that I was getting married with you. Yep. Thank you. Thank you. Because it's important to know in advance that I'm going to be with you. Exactly. So backing up, but for all the people who don't know what the hell we're talking about, what do you do?

Let's tell them.

Okay, so I'm a professional dancer and I got my, you know, degree in dance, but I was kind of like, what do I do with such? So I created my own business, Maya Moves, a little name for myself. In the beginning, it was just like a brand to be able to do whatever I wanted with dance, but then,

and like teach our age classes of hip hop and just like have fun. And then it developed into

so much more. And as my friends got married, wedding industry is like where I am the most. And I

help couples look natural and not awkward when they dance. And like father-daughter dance, all the things you need for

the weddings. That's what I pretty much do full-time. And I also teach kids because I'm obsessed.

But that's honestly like a good mix for me as like adults and kids. And that's what I do full-time

for myself. I've been doing it for five years, but like COVID's when I like pushed myself

to just do Maya moves full time. It's been great. That's so cool. First of all, congratulations.

Thank you. Starting your own business is really difficult. And you're doing such a unique thing.

Thank you. That came from passion that you have. And I just like admire the hell out of that. I do love it every day.

And I'm so excited like I've been following you and I feel like I've like watched your stuff and I've known of you for so long.

Yeah. Like literally before. Yeah. Before I even was engaged I like knew I was like oh yeah like obviously my moves is going to like choreograph my wedding dance.
