The show was handed a silver medal today, but that metal actually belongs to Paralympian Taylor Swanson.

She came back from Paris with a bronze medal, too. We'll talk with the Roosevelt High Graduate

about her love of running and what people don't understand about the Paralympics. But first,

let's get you caught up. Coming soon, food safety ratings for your favorite hot dog cart. The King County

Board of Health will spend tomorrow afternoon discussing food safety ratings and regulations,

specifically expanding the food rating system to include more of Seattle's eateries.

A proposed amendment would expand the food rating system to include bakeries,

meat and fish establishments, catering operations, and mobile food units, aka food trucks, food

trailers, and food carts. This comes after the county noted an increase in food carts without

proper safety inspections. And if five electoral debates wasn't enough for you yesterday, we've got one more for you today,

the state attorney general's race.

Candidates Nick Brown and Pete Serrano will debate at Seattle Central College, and you can hear it

on KUOW tonight at 8 p.m.

Then, things quiet down on the debate front until next week.
