In a minute, if it's okay with all of you, I'm going to reflect a bit on

the Gorton and Denton by-election. Voting takes place on Thursday, and there is a feeling that this is

one of these by-elections with consequences. We will reflect on that as well, actually.

And then we come to some brilliant,

brilliant emails from those of you joining in the never-ending debate in the Rock and Roll Politics

Cooperative. Before all of that, a few notices. First of all, last week I read an email and

the name had disappeared. It was a very good email

raising questions about Darren Jones. Is he a good interviewee or not? And Shabana Mahmood,

in the view of the emailer, not being. Anyway, the emailer was Marian Sainsbury, who quite often

writes to the Rock and Roll Politics Cooperative,

and we've met. So I discovered because Marion emailed and said, it was me. I don't know what

happened to the name. The emails are flying in, many, many of them. And sometimes in the compilation,

errors are made. Not by me, just errors happen.
