All right. Here we go. Prophecy in time stuff, what the second coming is going to look

like. We're going to talk about the cosmic signs that Jesus discusses where he talks about

the sun getting dark, the moon, the stars falling like how literal is that? Or is it like

really symbolic? It represents totally different things. We'll talk about that. What are the

theological implications in the second coming of Christ? I know that's not a question

people ask, but they should. It's very exciting. And we're going to talk about that today.

What is the gathering of the elect? And does this passage, okay, look, hear me out. Does

this passage support a post tribulational rapture view? I'm not even saying that's my view.

I don't know my view, right? But I want to unpack the issues and let you guys understand

them, let you think through these things. And so we'll discuss it and I'll share some

different perspectives. And then of course, what's the main lesson for us to have on the

coming of Christ? And that's really where the heart of this comes down. But here we are.

In the Mark series, part 54, we're dealing with Mark 13 versus 24 through 27. Let me just

read this passage to you because I want you to understand like we want to really get

what Jesus is saying, not just to use it for like a preaching point, but to like thoroughly

understand the words of Christ where he says in those days, after the tribulation, the

sun will be darkened and the moon will not give its light. And the stars will be falling

from heaven. And the powers that are in the heavens will be shaken. Then they will see

the son of man coming in clouds with great power and glory. And then he will send forth

the angels and will gather together his elect from the four winds from the farthest end

of the earth to the farthest end of heaven. What is that about? The fig tree stuff we're
