Remember this movie?

This movie is what led armed vigilantes to show up at drop boxes all across the country this year and two years ago in particular.

It was a movie that purported to be a documentary. It was produced and I believe written by Dinesh DeSouza, a notorious right-wing troll,

who has been on this program.

He has come on this program to try to debate me.

He's a really smart guy, by the way.

And it was largely based on information that they had gotten from True the Vote, this group that, you know, principally it appears, tries to compile lists of Democrats to knock off voting roles in Republican-controlled states.

And the documentary was then, I believe it was acquired.

I'm not sure of the details of how it ended up with Salem Broadcasting.

Salem is one of the larger right-wing radio networks that runs continuous right-wing hate radio.

In major cities all over the United States, It was originally funded by a Bible publishing company.

In fact, I think it still is, although it's become quite the profit center on its own.

I had lunch with a vice president of Salem Broadcasting probably 15 years ago at a talker's convention.

I just sat next to him at the banquet, you know, and pitched my show, and he said,

oh, well, you know, we could never put you on because liberals can't be Christians,

and we're funded by a Bible publishing company, and so we only put people who are okay with Christianity on the show,

which is kind of interesting because at the time,

two of their top right-wing hosts were Jewish, but didn't talk about that much on the year.

But anyway, what could I say?
