There have been some improvements,

some light in this pandemic that we are all trying to live through.

For instance, a lot of us got into cooking.

Many of us spent more time with our loved ones,

and a lot of us went out and got pets.

And we watched a lot of TV.

I hate to admit this, but in my hours of darkness and isolation,

I watched all five seasons of a Turkish TV series

on Netflix called Resurrection Ertugrul.

This is an epic fictional drama about the father of the Ottoman Empire.

And now I use the word Evala in just about every sentence.

Evala has so many meanings, including thanks and trust in God.

Evala, good lord.
