We're actually recording this episode right before

the All-Star break, and that's because it's going to be taken a week off of episodes for the

week of February 20th, while the Wolves and the NBA are taking a week off there as well.

And because it's the All-Star Break, we're going to do a little bit different of a format about

this. We don't have specific wolves game to talk about.

So, yeah, this episode is going to be a little bit different.

Long story short, we're going to be talking about the importance of ownership in pro sports

and specifically the ownership of the wolves, which is, of course, in the process of transitioning from Glenn Taylor,

who is on the franchise since 1994 to Mark Lorry and Alex Rodriguez, a process that started in 2021

and is, I guess, still very much processing.

So that's one piece of what we're going to be getting into, just what all goes into that process of the transition from Taylor to Lori and Rodriguez, what has happened in the

ownership exchange process, what still needs to be processed. And then kind of more than anything,

we'll focus on what we might be able to expect when that process does finally come together.

And Lori and Rodriguez are the majority owners of the franchise.

And to get into all things ownership, I am joined by Dan Bowling, who I guess in preparation for

this episode was given the opportunity to sit down with Mark

Lori to gather some additional information on Lori's background and also to help lay out what

Lori's vision is for the Timberwolves and Links franchise.
