Hello, welcome to the MMQB NFL podcast. I'm Connor. There's Albert Brear, and we have like, what, 72. I'm not good with the time, 72 hours until the start of the NFL draft.

0:15.4

I think it's something like that, yeah. Something like that. Always, it suspiciously falls on my daughter's birthday, which is like a fun thing where we blow out the candles on the cake.

0:24.3

And then I disappear into the basement like an ogre for the next six hours.

0:28.5

But this one is, I think that this draft now, because Daniel Jeremiah tweeted this the other day.

0:36.4

And it was something like, this draft is going to be a lot of fun.

0:38.7

Let's get into it.

0:39.4

And I was like, really, DJ?

0:40.7

But now that the Giants have traded and gotten the number 10 pick for Dexter Lawrence,

0:46.5

I'm kind of like, this draft might be full of not good players, but it's going to be a lot of fun.

0:51.3

I mean, I've actually like sort of thought that all along just because, like, I think

0:56.7

what it lacks in quality, it makes up for volatility, if that makes sense.

1:01.6

Because I just think, like, I mean, who knows how.

1:05.1

So I think you've got three guys at non-premium positions.

1:08.1

We've been over this that are top shelf prospects, right?

1:11.8

Like, would be probably the number one guy at their position in almost any class.

1:16.4

And that's Caleb Down, Sunny Stiles, and Jeremiah Love, right?

1:22.5

And then the guys at the premium positions all leave you wanting for something.

1:29.2

And that's why so many teams are looking to trade down. I mean, three, four, five, six, seven, all those teams are looking to

1:33.0

trade down. It's because, well, I really like this guy, but I feel a lot better about taking

1:38.6

them at 11 or 12 or 13. And so, you know, I think that creates some volatility at the top. Then I think you have got the offensive tackles coming off the board, which I think there will be seven in the first round. Let me see if I can get them. Francis Maui, Noah from Miami, Caleb Lomu and Spencer Fanon from Utah, Monroe Freeling from Georgia, Caden Proctor from Alabama, Blake Miller from Clemson and Maxahenichoreature. I don't know. Hey. Or E. Hanachor from Arizona State. Those seven, which that shows you of me rattling those off that I've been on the phone too much over the last week. But all seven of those guys, I think, go in the first round. And then there's a drop off, right? So, like, I think that's going to create some movement as far as teams that really need tackles. The receivers are interesting. You've got, I think, six receivers probably going in the first round. There's just, like, I feel like there's, like, a lot of volatility, maybe a lot, it's a lot less predictable than what we would normally have at the top and really through

2:34.7

the first round. And here's a couple of things to consider here. There are now six teams with

2:40.8

multiple first round picks. So six teams. And six teams without one. And six teams without one, right? So you
