Welcome into the lounge presented by Draft Kings. I'm Garrett Downing and I'm joined by Clifton Brown.

We just walked out of the annual pre-draft press conference and we had a chance to hear from

general manager Eric Acosta, head coach Jesse Mentor. They provided some insight into the process that

they've gone through leading into

this draft and what the Ravens could look to do in this draft. And it's funny, for years and

years, this event was always known as a Liars Luncheon because, first of all, the media

gets luncheon today, which is everyone's excited about, which is part of the reason it's known

as a luncheon. But in all honesty, I have felt like over recent years,

the Ravens have been pretty transparent about process. They're not putting their draft board

up on the video wall there, but they're pretty transparent about the process that they go through,

the types of the considerations that they take into account and how they plan to approach their

assessment of the drafts. I feel like when you look back on it, all that stuff generally

turns out to be pretty indicative of how it plays out on draft weekend. So I'll just start

with that and what other big takeaways you had in listening to Eric and Jesse today.

Right. I agree with that take.

I was just thinking about Tyler Linderbaum.

Yep.

When you were talking about that, there was a lot of buzz before that draft about

was Linderbom too small to be a first round center.

And Eric was like, no, we like him a lot.

They ended up drafted Todd Linderbaum and he worked out very well for them.
