I.B. Nation, welcome back to another episode of the Irish Breakdown podcast. Happy Tuesday. It is April 15th. It also means it's tax day. So hopefully everybody is all squared away and ready to go for that as well. But it is Tuesday. And this past weekend, we got to watch Notre Dame's spring game, the annual blue gold game, the 94th edition

of it. And here at Irish Breakdown over the next. And maybe the last. And the 94th and potentially

the final blue gold game. Hopefully not. But moving forward here at Irish Breakdown before we can

officially put a bow on spring and really

move into the bulk of the offseason here, we're going to have a lot of shows talking about

what we had learned from Notre Dame Spring. And this is a crucial offseason like we

talked about before spring session started. And Notre Dame just made a national championship run.

They fell short in the title game.

And the 2024 roster did a lot of things that we hadn't seen at Notre Dame in quite some time.

Decades.

And we are going to today start out by talking about what we learned about this team throughout spring practice

and how we're going to format it today, guys, is we're going to talk through what we learned about this team throughout spring practice and how we're going to format it today, guys,

is we're going to talk through what we learned about the offense and then what we learned about

the defense. Some of it might be confirmation of things that we had preconceived notions of

and others is just, yo, we just didn't know this going into the spring. And then the second part of the show today, guys, we're going to be talking through

the biggest questions that we still have.

And again, we're going to divvy it up between offense and defense.

And as much as we would have loved it to, there are still some areas of this team that

are just going to remain question marks until the off season continues to unfold.

And then at the end of it, we already put it in the chat, but we are going to have a

mailbag today.
