I want to welcome you to a, this is our second feedback episode.

We've gotten a lot of emails in the last week about last week's episode, we'll talk about that.

But we had so many other emails to respond to as well.

We are going to dedicate this to responding

to a lot of the incoming that we've had from all of you.

Last week, we should just jump right in because last week we did an episode that we called internally the blue-eyed soul episode and you all know it as white singers black voices and so we in that episode we discussed

various different white folks who sing in a way that comes across in a way that feels

real black real color so real color it has a lot of seasoning on it.

And we got a lot of emails from you all saying that we had misgendered Sam Smith and we did that completely

wrong. So throughout the episode. We referenced Sam Smith using

the he-hand pronouns Sam Smith about a year ago actually next week

announced that they were changing their pronouns to be they-then pronouns, and all of you

let us know that we got that incorrect.

So we are apologizing because we messed that up.
