Summary
In her grandmother’s home, there was one room that was always off-limits. It wasn’t explained in a way that seemed unusual at the time, just one of those boundaries everyone followed without really asking why.
The house itself was always full—family, cousins, noise, the kind of place where there was always something going on. And like most kids in a house like that, they spent their time playing games, running from room to room, finding new places to hide.
