Hello and welcome to Psychic Teachers. I'm your host Deborah Bowen and I'm Samantha Faye and we

are just so delighted and honored that you are joining us as we continue to move through our series

on being a psychic and what that really means and looks like and in this episode we ask the question

what kind of intuitive are you? Are you an empath or a light worker or both what's the difference

between a psychic and a medium are all healers intuitive these and more are what we're going to be

diving into. I'd like to start with what I call an umbrella term intuitive. I think it covers pretty

much everything we're going to be talking about in this series. All of these metaphysical labels

can fall under the term intuitive. Healers, empaths, light workers, medium psychics are all intuitive.

To me intuition is simply the ability to intuit to sense energy and emotions. I think of the idea

that we are all intuitive. In my mind we all have that about six cents and we use it in many different

ways through various modalities. So I think of it too as an umbrella term. Now psychics and mediums

those are two very different terms that are often used interchangeably but they are different.

A psychic perceives while a medium receives. So a psychic will read and interpret the energy

of living people and animals. A medium does this plus receives information insights and validations

from loved ones on the other side and this includes animals guides and angels. A psychic helps with

day-to-day issues, career decisions, guidance. Often it's confirming someone's own inner knowing and

it's very helpful in navigating life lessons and situations. Whereas a medium receives the

information from someone in spirit through the clairs either clairvoyance, clair audience, clair

sentience, claircognizance. Within this label of medium there are so many more layers. You can be a

mental medium, a physical or trans medium, a rescue medium, a channeler, an artist medium or a

medical medium just to name a few. So that's a whole different show at a whole different course.
