According to a headline from 9 to 5 Mac, T.S.M.C. earnings back reports of relatively weak iPhone 15 demand.

Not sure where they're getting that.

Apple processor partner Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company or T-SMC

reported numbers for the September quarter on Thursday.

The company had guided for third quarter revenue between $16.7 billion US and $17.5 billion.

Revenue came in at $17.28 billion, relatively close to the high end of their guidance. It also beat analyst expectations

of about 16.7 billion dollars U.S. Now, TSMZ makes lots of chips for lots of companies, including Apple.

All of those companies, including Apple, are being hit by a slowdown in consumer spending.

Companies that make things for consumers aren't going through as many processors these days

because not as many customers are buying stuff.
