So I am going to cringe a little bit when I say this,

but it has been called a hot tariff summer.

And now with fall on its way,

that is when we might begin to see the impact of the Trump administration's new policies.

So President Trump signed an order last week ending the de minimis exemption.

What is it and what should we know about it?

Yeah, the de minimis exemption is a pretty now famous tax loophole that has

allowed certain businesses to get goods into the United States without paying tax. And, you know,

a lot of people have benefited from this, you know, small businesses sometimes if there is something

that they need to buy for

their business that is coming from instance from China, they can get those goods with this loophole,
