Ukrainian President Volodymere Zelenskyy says that if Russia and Ukraine come to a peace deal,

a minimum of 200,000 European troops would

be required to enforce it. Those were his comments at the Davos conference in Switzerland this

week. President Trump says ending wars is a top priority for his new administration, but how that

will happen has not come into focus. The rules Daniel Offman starts us off today with a look at what Trump's cabinet nominees

are saying about the war in Ukraine.

Just hours after the inauguration, President Trump was in the Oval Office signing executive

orders and taking questions from reporters.

On a few occasions, he was asked about the war in Ukraine

and his thoughts about Russian president Vladimir Putin. He can't be thrilled. He's not doing so well.

I mean, he's grinding it out, but most people thought that war would have been over in about one week.
