The Flyers have two major pieces of in-house business that need to get done,

resigning restricted free agents, Trevor Zegress, and Jamie Driesdale.

What could that cost them?

kind of breaking down RFA contract projections

for the Flyers two top priorities this summer in terms of in-house guys, Jamie Driesdale,

Trevor Zegris, both of whom need new contracts. He looked at models from evolving hockey

and AFP analytics and kind of went into the details there.

And I just wanted to have a conversation about where this could be going for the flyers as they look to resign their, at this point, top center and one of their best defensemen to longer-ish term deals, perhaps.

into some of these projections. Let's start with Jamie Drysdale, Charlie. We have talked extensively

about Drysdale recently, just the ceiling, where he could go.

He dedicated, you know, basically two years to breaking down his defensive game and

rebuilding it.

And all of a sudden, oh, that's the strength of his game.

He needs to add some offense.

His season, eight goals, 24 assists for 32 points and a career high, 21 and a half

minutes time on ice in the playoffs. Four points, two goals to assists, 2211 time on ice. He is coming

off a three-year, 6.9, nice million dollar deal. He signed in Anaheim with a 2.3 million average annual value.

Signed that at 21 coming off of his ELC prior to the 23-24 season, had that contentious

negotiation with Pat Verbeek, and they traded him about three months after they signed him.
