I'm Ryan Mink here with Garrett Downing.

And we are going to break down the Ravens already being active in the trade market,

as well as what could happen before Tuesday's 4 p.m. trade deadline.

And then also take a look around the AFC North and the AFC conference to talk about where the Ravens stand right now in the playoff picture and what they need to do down the stretch to get to the dance. Garrett, after a weekend of a little bit of relaxation, a mini-buy for the Ravens following the Thursday night win over the Miami Dolphins.

So an active weekend.

Eric Sikaso was working.

It wasn't a vacation for him. It was not a vacation for him.

And so the Ravens dealt cornerback Jair, Alexander to the Philadelphia Eagles.

It was Jair in a seventh round pick in the 2027 draft in exchange for a sixth round pick in the

twenty 26 draft that's what the raven's got in return so garrett what are your thoughts about

that move well first of all as you mentioned the trade deadline is tuesday at 4 p.m.

and i think that everything that we've seen from eric Takosa and his time as general manager to me

suggest that he's going to be turning over every stone to find a way to improve this team.

And I look at the Jayaeer Alexander move in the totality of knowing that trade deadline is on

the horizon.

So with Jaiir, look, this is a signing. We were all excited about.

We talked about how good he looked early in training camp, the energy that he brought.

I really liked him and the interactions that I had with him.

But it obviously just didn't work out.

He played well early in camp.

Then he spent much of the summer on the shelf dealing with that knee injury that dates back to last season that he had surgery on.
