Welcome on into the Wolverine.com podcast, Clayton Safie alongside Chris Ballas and Anthony Broom, Michigan, Ohio State Week, getting you set for the 118th meeting between Wolverines and the Buckeyes top five for the 14th time in history.

Both teams undefeated for just the fourth time since these two teams have

played on the final weekend of the regular season in 1935. So one of the biggest games in this

story rivalry, one of the biggest games really for Michigan, it's right up there in terms

of program history, regular season games, all of that.

Michigan, Ohio State tied 27, 27 and 2 down in Columbus.

So somebody's going to break that tie on Saturday.

It feels like it should be Friday about at this point.

This week is crawling by from my standpoint. Where are your emotions at terms of this game at this point in the week? Right about there. It's like, let's get this thing going. And you want to know what's going on with Blake Corum and you want to know what's going on with Donovan Edwards and everything else. And we're going to find out more at kickoff. There are a lot of rumors and a lot of rumblings. We know the situation, and we know that Blake Corum will absolutely play if he can. And I think that's the key word right there, the three key words, if he can. But here's the thing about him is that he's looking for every reason to play in this game, and it hurts him. Whereas in the past, and I've written this, you've had some guys in there that were sitting out practices and sitting out games. And mommies were telling them, don't get hurt, you know, in games like Notre Dame and stuff like that. You don't win like that. You win with guys like Blake Corum, and whether or not he plays, that rubs off on the rest of his team. They see that. They appreciate that.

If Blake Corum can't play, they're going to be out there playing for him. And I still think they have a chance to win, assuming they can get enough on the ground. And again, we aren't saying one way or another. This is not the week to say, hey, there's, you know, he's not playing or whatever. But to me, if they can get anything on the ground, then Michigan's got a good chance to win this football game.

Yeah, I mean, I'm with the two of you guys and that, like, this week is just, I did this, I think it was with Spencer Holbrook when I did his show the other day. We talked about how it's Thanksgiving week, but really it's, it's not. It's Ohio State Week. And that's kind of like the pause and the uh you know the few hours we get to indulge ourselves on a meal but the fact the matter is is that this week every year

especially when these type of stakes have been on the line forget the 11 and 0 you win this game

you're going to indy you don't you're going to be sitting at home and waiting to see what your fate is next week and the uncertainty around because this is a coin

flip game as as most of these type of matchups are the uncertainty it's it's anxiety inducing right

especially when we don't know what's going on with the guys that might be on the field that might not be on the field. So, I mean, for me, it's, you know, it's all hands on deck. I think the guys that we've talked to, we only got two days worth of a media availability this week. Everyone seems pretty, pretty relaxed, pretty, you know, about as locked in as you can be in that setting with us anyways.

But yeah, there doesn't, you know, even with injuries, there doesn't seem to be a whole

lot of whining and excuse making going on.
