We hope you had the most brilliant Christmas and spent Christmas Day listening to our last podcast, actually.

We've taken most of the day,

where we look back at this year,

which is now drawing to a close,

which means only one thing.

We're going to have a look ahead to 2025 which will be another

extraordinary significant year with all kinds of unpredictable things that we're going to predict

but beforehand do we do we celebrate new year as a collective here i mean after christmas we

still want to go for it. Well I'm the Scottish

person here so I would be expected to be in Scotland for it but I'm not actually but it's just a sign

of ageing. I having done many Scottish hogmanais and where it's still a competitive sport in

Scotland the party that goes on for a couple of days.

I now go to Scotland for Christmas,

which was brilliant,

and then I'm now back in England recovering.

And I really like the English approach to New Year,

which is just, I think, is much less frenetic.
