I'm going to address this topic from the biblical

perspective as well as identify some basic traits of narcissistic behavior. Now, narcissism is an

excessive interest in one's self and one's physical appearance. The word narcissism comes from a Greek myth

in which a handsome young man named narcissist

sees his reflection in the pool of water

and falls in love with it.

So this gives rise to the perception

that narcissists have a big sense of self-importance.

Here are nine traits of narcissists.

The first one is an exaggerated sense of self-importance, and they believe they are superior to others.

The second one is the need for admiration.

Narcissists often seek constant praise and validation

to reinforce their inflated self-image.

Third one is lack of empathy.

They struggle to understand or care about the feelings and needs of others.
