Summary

This Gathering Room was inspired by…my neck. Painful, stiff, and cranky, like it’s got a personal grudge against relaxation. As it turns out, it’s teaching me the ultimate lesson: that pain isn’t the enemy, but a doorway to awakening. In this episode, I share how a brutal bout of food poisoning finally cracked me open to Divine relief flowing down my spine, relaxing what I couldn’t relax on my own. If you're suffering any kind of pain and need some help, this episode is for you. Join me!

And she started like working on my neck. And she said, so relaxing the neck. She said very softly. And I'm like, I am relaxing my neck. She's like,

1:19.5

so just see if you can relax that neck. And I was like, I'm really, I'm doing everything. I can relax.

1:25.8

She said, could you just relax your neck? I'm trying.

1:29.4

Like, that is the most relaxed my neck ever gets these days. And after a while, she just went into a

1:35.4

sort of shocked silence and poked it for a while. It helped a lot. But my point is, I thought I was

1:42.4

relaxing and I wasn't. So I'm sort of in this space where I know I can't

1:48.9

relax my neck. And I watched the Winter Olympics in that state. And I don't know if anybody

1:54.7

else saw Alyssa Lou's brilliant gold medal winning performance. Actually, I hadn't even

2:00.7

watched anything that day. And for some reason, it was like late at night. I actually hadn't even watched anything that day.

2:01.9

And for some reason, it was like late at night. I was going to sleep. And I thought,

2:05.3

you know what? I'm going to check the headlines. And it said, Alyssa Leo takes the gold.
