0:00.0	I started traveling around the country when I was 19 years old.
0:03.7	I was playing concerts with a Baptist church on Wednesday night and a Presbyterian
0:08.2	church on Thursday night and Methodists on Friday.
0:10.8	I started collecting old hymnals.
0:12.5	You can't see it, but I have this big pile of hymnals over here that I've just collected
0:16.9	over the years and I just kind of thought they were cool.
0:19.3	And at some point in my late 20s, early 30s I went through sort of a real time of disillusionment and hurt and had some things happened at a church that were hard. Definitely had more questions than I had answers. I'll put it that way. At that same time, a lot of my community of Christians started to disappear. A lot of people my age left the church at that time.
0:39.3	I was looking around and I was like, well, why is everybody leaving?
0:41.3	Then I started, for some reason, kind of looking through some of these older things
0:45.3	and also started finding some of these older liturgical practices.
0:49.3	So there's a little Anglican church down the street from my house.
0:53.3	They had a Bible study that met on Wednesdays at noon, and I wasn't an Anglican church down the street from my house. They had a Bible study that met on Wednesdays
