But I wanted to talk to you and address something that I thought was really important

when you love someone suffering from addiction.

Okay, so I'm going to give you a situation and I want to see if you can relate.

I was Inside our secret Facebook group reading the comments.

First of all, for those of you that are in that group, I adore you.

I love the advice that is being given.

It brought me so much joy to hear you guys give each other advice. I remember when I used to lead a woman's codependency group, it drove me bananas that one of the rules in the group is that you can't give advice to other women.

I was like, well then why am I here? I mean, I want to talk, I want to have

conversations, I want to like throw things out there and see if anyone can relate and then

tell me what worked for them or what didn't work for them or anything.

It just, it really, I never understood that rule of small groups.

If you've been to a small group, you might know this rule. And so so I was like if I ever start my own

community like we must give each other advice and so I love that you all are

doing that in that group and I love that it's a safe spot for you guys to share your feelings, be incredibly

vulnerable and have other women honor you by saying, yeah, me too.

And here's what I did.

Or I saw one woman go in there and be like, look, I just need a peb talk, like I'm feeling down today.

And so many women like got on there and were like,

you can do it, you've got this.

And it was like really amazing. And I was like this yes yes this is
