Hey girlies and welcome back to the pod. Today we're talking all about what you can do when you get bored of your hometown because I feel like

during summer it's really easy just to get stuck like at home feeling like oh like I don't want to go out I don't want to do anything and then all you end

up doing is sitting in bed watching Netflix when it's like pretty outside or even

when it isn't pretty outside there's still things you can do.

Because I know, I've been feeling a bit bored.

So I'm going to share my tips, but before we get into that, we're going to talk all about my week because I feel like I haven't done that in a hot minute.

Also, since there wasn't an episode last week because I'm in Grace or by the time you're listening to this I am in

Greece somewhere. So that's exciting but last week didn't have an episode but the week before was about books so if you're interested in that definitely check that one out that was a good episode

But this week okay I visited my roommate, my college roommate in Virginia Beach over the 4th of July, which was really fun and I got to meet her friends and her boyfriend and we got to hang out for a few days which was really nice because I feel like it will make me a lot less anxious like actually having the first day of school and like move in and orientation and all that stuff since I know her now and we don't really and it's not like we've just only talked on FaceTime.

So that's been really nice and that was super fun.

And then when I got back home, oh wait,

before I was in Virginia Beach, so I was at the lake, okay? And tragic incident at the lake.

So I was getting off the boat. We went with our friends. Our friends have a boat. I was getting off the bow onto a dock, okay? My phone was in my hand.

My hand just randomly gives out sometimes it's really fun. So like I'll just drop stuff randomly because my hand just stops holding anything

So of course that happened right when I was getting off the dock. Okay, so my phone falls in the water. Water, 20 feet deep. Okay, so all the sudden everyone's like,

oh my God, oh my God, oh no. And my mom's just sitting there. She's like, there's no way. Your phone's gone. We're not getting it. And so she's like, walk away. I was like, okay. And I was like super upset. I was like, how do I just drop my phone? And everyone was like, Carmen, how do you just drop your phone? everyone was like Carmen how do you just drop your phone like how does that even happen that's so embarrassing and I was like yeah I know but then okay we got back from the marina we're standing by the dog We see these two girls like little girls maybe 10 12 years old I don't know and they were swimming with goggles and flippers

So I walked up to them. I was like hey are you are you guys good at diving for stuff? Like, do you want to dive for something? And they were like, yeah, sure. And I was like, okay, well, I dropped my phone over there. Can you guys go look for it? And they were like, yeah, sure. These girls could not dive. They could not. They would go under like two feet and then come back up. So then my brother finally decided. He's like, I'm going to get it. And he's wearing like sweat

pants, a sweatshirt. So he jumps in with his sweat pants, flippers, and goggles.

The water is 20 feet deep.

This man comes out of the water.

Hand up.

He has my phone.
