It was a situation where I had to be adaptable to what life was thrown at me.

So I actually had a podcast guest episode ready to go,

But the person that I interviewed had a special request

And I happened to be

traveling a ton lately. First, I was in Vegas for the Real Coaches Summit, which is an amazing

event for nutrition and fitness coaches and something that I go to with my team at Pop every

year. And then Mel and I took a very short vacation to the bahamas from

friday to monday so it kind of left me in a bind and so here i am without my podcast equipment

just getting it done while finishing up the vacation that we're on.

So this is really our last day of full vacation mode.

And I wanted to get this episode done because done is better than perfect.

And I think this is a great analogy for just health, fitness, life in general.

It's not always going to be the perfect conditions. There's going to be curveballs. There's going to be random situations that come up.

And you've got to find a way to just do what you can to the best of your ability and not let

perfection get in the way of consistency. because those are two very different things.
