Hello everyone, you're listening to a podcast called The Earful Tower.

That is a play on words, the Eiffel Tower, but for your ears.

Why am I explaining the name of the show?

Why?

Because this is an episode aimed towards new listeners and people who are new to Paris.

I had this, it's kind of weird, this show has been

around for 350-ish episodes for about six years. There's been millions of downloads and yet I don't

think I've ever done an episode specifically geared towards first time visitors. I'll explain a little bit later why I was sort of what the sort of

brainwave moment or the light bulb moment that made me want to go back to the beginning like this.

But first, here's what you're in for in this episode. The first half is going to be me explaining

the tips I would give to like a close friend or a loved one who was about to come

to Paris for the first time. So these are my legitimate true tips that I'd give to someone.

The second part will be a checklist. The same checklist I'd give to someone a friend, but it's

specifically geared towards monuments and museums and stuff like that for your first time.

Now, if it's your first time listening to this show, this is a perfect place to jump in.

If you've listened a bunch of times before, I still think there'll be something in there for you.
